About — Elizabeth Anuoluwapo Ogunseye

I didn’t wake up one day with a “personal brand.” I built one, slowly, while doing a hundred other things a 9-5, a startup, a degree, a life.

My name is Elizabeth Anuoluwapo Ogunseye. Some of you know me as Sisilizzzy. I’m a content creator, marketer, and co-founder, and most of what I write about comes from things I’m actually living through, not theories I read somewhere.

Where this started

I studied Political Science, then went back for a second degree in Mass Communication, because I already knew I wanted to build a life around communication, storytelling, and people. In 2017, I started taking my voice seriously mapped out what I wanted to say and who I wanted to say it to, trained in public speaking, got certified as a TV host, and later as a relationship coach. That year is really when Sisilizzzy began as more than a hobby.

Since then, the focus has shifted. I’m less interested in performing motivation and more interested in telling the truth about how growth actually happens — slowly, invisibly, with a lot of unglamorous consistency before anyone notices.

What I do now

These days, my content lives mostly in two places: self-development and relationship building, and increasingly, conversations about career growth and not limiting yourself to one professional identity. I share what I’m learning on Instagram and YouTube, and I write longer, more reflective pieces on LinkedIn about self-actualization and the work of becoming.

I’m also the co-founder and CMO at Subify, a Nigerian subscription management startup proof, to me, that you don’t have to choose between building a brand and building a business. In 2022, that entrepreneurial work was recognized with Womenovate’s Emerging Tech Entrepreneur (Female) award, which felt less like an arrival and more like a checkpoint in a much longer journey.

Why I share what I share

Most of what I post comes from a simple belief: you’re allowed to build beyond whatever role currently defines you. A job title isn’t a ceiling. And the years where nothing seems to be happening are usually the years where everything is being built.

If that’s a journey you’re on too, I’d love for you to follow along.
